Our all-day workshop invites you to explore and experiment with various materials to craft your own personalised journals or sketchbooks using the centuries old Japanese stab binding technique with intricate stitching and concertina bookbinding.

The day begins with a welcome drink and introduction followed by a guided walk in nature to explore the beautiful surroundings of Lockhaugh Farm.  This gentle walk helps set the tone for an immersive and creative workshop facilitated by our 2026 Artist-in-Residence, Louise Bradley.  Enjoy our delicious plant-centric lunch, inspired by the seasons, made with love and enjoyed with friends, old and new.  All ingredients are organic and, wherever possible, locally and ethically sourced.
