There is a private seating area in the garden adjacent to Stable Cottage, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing.

The Stables
STABLE HOUSE
Restored on the original footprint of the 19th century stable, Stable House is now a beautiful south-facing contemporary dwelling. This three-bedroomed, two bathroom holiday home is a wonderful stay for friends and family gatherings.
Entered via the central courtyard, this stylishly furnished house has floor to ceiling windows spanning across the hall and lounge. The lounge is a comfortable place to relax with two sofas, accent chairs, a flatscreen tv and countryside views to the Column to Liberty. The large fully equipped open plan kitchen dining room is a wonderful space for entertaining and opens out to a patio for al fresco dining and a lawned garden with views across fields and woodland.
The very spacious master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with rain shower.
Along the corridor there are two double-sized bedrooms separated by a shared bathroom. One room has two sets of bunkbeds and the other room a super-king (which can be separated into singles).
The utility room with washer and dryer is situated to the rear of the house with access to the garden.

The Carriages

RAILWAY CARRIAGES
Lovingly converted with many original features restored, these two former cargo railway carriages recovered from the disused Derwent Railway line are individually styled and offer a unique and cosy stay.
The light open-plan living spaces with double glazed doors include an equipped small kitchen with mini hob, oven, toaster and fridge. Each carriage has a dining table and comes complete with a bespoke handcrafted day-bed which converts to a full-size double bed with comfy mattress and fresh linens.
The bathrooms include an electric shower, hand basin and toilet.
Situated to the east of the farmhouse tucked away next to the wood and resident owls, each carriage has its own small private garden with seating for outdoor dining and relaxing.
From here you can wander into the meadow which leads you to the River Derwent.
Oil-filled radiator for heating and towel radiator in bathroom.
